Information we process

We process account details you provide, purchase and billing records, selected book format, library entitlements, download activity, support messages, and technical security records. Manuscripts and private reader notes are handled only for the product functions you request.

Why we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts, process orders, prevent fraud, provide downloads and reader access, send transactional messages, answer support requests, meet accounting obligations, and—only with analytics permission—understand how public pages perform.

Payments and service providers

Stripe processes payment details for new purchases. PayPal continues to process historical payment verification, refunds, and disputes. We receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and limited billing information; this site does not store full card numbers. Firebase and Google Cloud support authentication, database, storage, and hosting functions. Email providers may process delivery addresses and transactional message records.

Storage choices

Essential browser storage keeps the cart, sign-in state, security controls, and reader preferences working. Optional analytics starts only after you choose to allow it. You can change that choice below.

Referral and affiliate attribution

An affiliate page explains the relationship and asks separately before setting a first-party referral cookie. If you allow it, the cookie points to a server-held claim containing the partner, campaign, consent version, click time, and expiry. It is used to credit a purchase made during the displayed attribution window, is not used for cross-site advertising, and can be removed below. Refused or removed referral tracking does not prevent browsing, account creation, or purchasing.

Podcast and live streams

Public podcast audio and transcripts can be used without an account. Live video is embedded from the named provider only while the event is live; opening or playing an embed may allow YouTube, Twitch, or Kick to process device, network, cookie, and viewing information under that provider's own privacy terms.

Retention and security

Records are kept only as long as needed for delivery, security, legal, tax, dispute, and support purposes. Payment and entitlement records may need to be retained after account deletion. We use access controls, signed sessions, private storage, audit records, and limited-lived download links, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may review and update profile data, export account data, or request deletion from your account. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or deletion. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
